Two neighbouring terroirs in a single tour
Beaujolais and Southern Burgundy share a border and almost nothing else: gamay on granite on one side, chardonnay on limestone on the other. Doing both in the same day is the quickest way to understand what "terroir" means.
Your only problem will be deciding which one you preferred.
Estates closed to the public, eight wines to taste
Two to four hand-picked estates, often closed to the public, with wines you will not find in supermarkets, winemakers who take their time, and the cellar immersion that goes with it.
On the Burgundy side, the day calls on Philippe, a former winemaker turned druid, and his private cellar.

The cheese sold only in the farmyard
A goat farmer based in a former Cluniac farm sells his cheese nowhere but at home, in his own yard. No market stall, no shop, no shipping: you have to turn up.
A Romanesque church painted by hand over thirty years
Its priest spent three decades in the early twentieth century covering the walls with frescoes. The result appears on no tourist trail, and you will usually have the place to yourselves.

What is the difference with the Southern Burgundy full day?
This one crosses two vineyards to compare them; the other stays in the Mâconnais and goes deeper into a single terroir.
Can the itinerary be adapted?
Yes. The detours (castle, farm, chapel) are decided along the way with your Insider, depending on your wishes and the weather.
